Just a matter of using the powder contents of the bottle instead of detergent in an empty dishwasher and running an initial wash cycle, perhaps pausing the cycle mid-way through the wash for a few hours if the unit is very bad. If not too bad, just run the initial cycle without pausing and come back when it's finished. For washing machines, use instead of detergent and run a cycle. For garbage disposals, simply pour down the drain and run the empty disposal with water for a minute. Easy to understand, clear instructions are included. Hard water consists of minerals, such as calcium, iron, lime scale, magnesium, etc., that clump together and form spots on dishes and glassware, and makes that little white ring you see on the heating element in the dishwasher.
