THIS KIT FITS ALL B-SERIES ENGINESOil pan stud, nut, and gasket kit for all Honda/Acura B16, B18, and B20 enginesFINALLY! The answer to leaking b-series oil pan gaskets! This kit consists of a laser cut composite gasket and 35mm (oem length) hardened steel oil pan studs and nuts.So many owners know how poorly the OEM oil pan and gasket is engineered. Owners of B-series engines have long been plagued with constant oil gasket leaks, only to replace the oil pan gasket with the OEM part and find that it is still leaking. This is due to several problems in the engineering:1. The oil pan flange is flimsy and easily warped even at OEM torque

specifications (9lbf-ft).2. The OEM oil pan gasket is made of very soft rubber that, even when dry, compresses and squeezes out the side of the flange area resulting in the tearing of the alignment holes, a poor seal, and almost immediate leaks. 3. The OEM oil pan seal was designed for the factory engine

specifications, meaning that modifications the engine that result in higher crankcase pressures can cause the soft rubber oil seal to shift off the flange and "blow out" causing a leak. Even engines that have an external oil catch can and breather system can suffer from this problem. 4. The OEM stud/bolt combination for torquing down the oil pan, especially when under the car, can result in the cross-threading of the bolt holes in the aluminum block, resulting in an expensive and time consuming repair at the garage and/or machine shop. Our kit comes with 35mm oil pan studs and nuts and a new laser cut composite gasket. All studs and nuts are hardened steel and are serrated and flanged. This stud, nut, and gasket kit provides a system that utilizes a gasket which is exponentially less likely to creep than the nitrile/rubber alternatives (OEM and other aftermarket brands). It is also extremely horizontally rigid which makes it much less likely to blow out like the nitrile gaskets available. Perhaps one of the greatest benefits to the myHondaHabit gasket is that it is rigid enough to support the oil pan flange to help prevent it from warping, but soft enough to seal against it too. Additionally, during use, it will absorb oil and swell causing a greater seal. The gasket, studs, and nuts are designed for greater 9lbf-ft of torque, however, we recommend using them at OEM torque

specifications. Please verify that the handling time meets your needs. Occasionally, when awaiting the completion of a manufacturing order, this time changes. Usually it is 1 day.
