Antique Holland Society January 20, 1910 25th Anniversary Commemorative Spoon. The Holland Society of New York is composed of descendants of Dutch Pioneers. It was founded in 1885 by George West Van Siclen. This spoon commemorated the 25th anniversary dinner held at the Waldorf Astoria on January 20, 1910. According to 1910 year book - on page 117 makes mention of the spoon. It states "The souvenir was a reproduction of a pewter spoon of Henry Hudson's time, such as appeared in the cabin of the Half Moon during the Hudson-Fulton Celebration ." 7 1/8" length x 2 3/8" at widest.
